According to a recent report, OSHA requires the cleaning and disinfecting of all face masks used in the SCBA arena. One of the most important rules in any procedure is to first clean all surfaces, then disinfect. Ultrasonic cleaning reaches both interior and exterior surfaces, areas manual cleaning can’t.

ULTRASONIC CLEANING
We have had a small 1-handgun ultrasonic system in our factory for several years.
It has served reliably except for one switch replacement.
We have used several types of water-based ammoniated organics cleaner and the combination has works for us all these years. It was during an LE Trade Show in which we were exhibitors that we walked over to the L&R booth and started a
conversation with L&R's owner. He suggested that he visit our factory and
demonstrate a new unit that he hopes will meet all our requirements.

At first we thought that the LE-242 SWEEP Set-Up was way too big for our needs but after convincing L&R's general manager to let us clean several of our demo Belt-Feed Machine Guns, we became believers. First thing we learned was that there is no such thing as "too-big-a-system". The speed, completeness and competency of the system combined with the obvious time-saving benefits started to add up.

Where it took 8-10 hours for my gun-monkeys to detail clean and inspect a dozen H&K MP-5's, a belt-feed and a half dozen suppressors now took all of an hour and a half. I saw the savings in time and money immediately. My guys were able to spend more time on actual inspection of the weapons for failed or worn components instead of tooth brushing AR barrel extensions and MP-5 receivers.

This system incorporates a two-bath set-up where as one rifle is in the cleaner, another is in the lube. All the crew liked the incorporated self-draining work surface. At second sight, we learned that cleaning fluid technology for ultrasonic systems has advanced tremendously. The L&R produced fluid is scientifically formulated to utilize the effects of ultrasonic waves to remove every last micron of organic matter. The results we had with off-the-shelf water-based cleaning fluids that were NOT intended to be used in ultrasonic cleaners paled in comparison. And at third sight, we learned that QUIET is a good thing. L&R's new wave-form generators are quieter than a room full of mimes.

With L&R's "SweepZone" technology (systems designated as "SWEEP"), which features automatically controlled frequency changes which create an ultrasonic cleaning "grid" which literally "sweeps" through the entire tank, unlike the pattern created by traditional ultrasonic systems. This results in constant power and consistent output, which means total cleaning.

L&R Ultrasonic Weapon Cleaning Systems are available in several models for a variety of applications. From handguns to tactical weapons to shotguns, rifles, weapon suppressors,

SCBA & Gas Masks as well as handcuffs, we’ve got a system and solution that will get even your toughest cleaning challenges looking brand new. All provide hands-free cleaning, lubricating and conditioning in minutes. Why Use Ultrasonic Cleaning?

Firearms frequently need to be thoroughly cleaned and lubricated to ensure continued operational reliability. This is due to carbon, oils, products of combustion black powder, copper and lead fouling that can accumulate over time and cause malfunctions. Ultrasonic cleaning provides an unsurpassed clean for all firearm surfaces, both interior and exterior.

Why Dual Tank Set-ups over single tank systems? We have to clean a few dozen of our demonstration weapons after every one of our Law Enforcement Demo events. The ability to have weapons in one tank cleaning, weapons in one tank getting lubricated, all the while performing detailed disassembly and inspection, saves us 20-30 man-hours.

We offer an extensive line of Ultrasonic Cleaning Systems and Solutions custom-suited to the law enforcement industry’s specific needs. Our products clean and lubricate tactical firearms, handguns, revolvers, long guns and more simultaneously—streamlining the entire cleaning process.

L&R systems are currently used by a variety of agencies including: • Municipal, City and State Police • Army • Air Force • Navy • Marines • BATFE • Secret Service • Customs & Border Patrol • Immigration & Customs Enforcement • FBI • CIA • Marshal's Service • FBOP

Handcuff Disinfectant Kit
For thorough cleaning and disinfecting of prisoner restraints.After-Riot equipment clean-up of your handcuffs should NOT consist of a spray of bleach and a wipe-down. Bodily fluids as well as epidermis residue can become trapped inside the handcuff's lock mechanism. Ratchet lock failure from dirty internals have historically been deadly for transporting officers. Ultrasonic cleaning of your handcuffs will extend their service life as well as provide for a non-bio hazardous work environment.
The DHS Ultrasonic Cleaning System

This system can clean and disinfect up to 8 gas masks at once. Internal tank dimensions are 14" x 16" x 10". A uniform cleaning pattern is achieved with SweepZone Technology which eliminates hot spots and weak areas during the cleaning process. Thorough cleaning of even the tiniest grooves and interior areas and removal of chem/bio agents, OC residue and bodily fluids. Half-Mask Respirators as well as Full-Mask Respirators.
SCBA Ultrasonic Cleaning System

Fire department equipment including individual face pieces, flame resistant straps, cylinder valves and nozzles collect dirt, grime and other residue. They require the unsurpassed cleaning power of ultrasonics, recognized by major mask manufacturers as the accepted method of SCBA cleaning. Ultrasonic cleaning offers the most thorough cleaning method available prior to the disinfections process—a significant benefit to departments that share SCBA equipment.
