BABYLON, NY. June 19, 2008 – Applied Tactical Technologies, Inc., (ATT-TACTICAL™) a privately held New York corporation that provides weaponry, explosives and support equipment to law enforcement and military end-users, announced today that they have been selected to produce the new Convertible Thigh/Belt Holster System for the department’s TASER™ electronic control devices. “We designed the holster to allow the officer to switch between duty belt mount and thigh mount to provide the most adaptable platform available to law enforcement. One snap and a twist of the wrist is all it takes to switch holster position from one to the other. Being fully repositionable will provide adjustability never before available”, stated J. Glazer, Applied Tactical Technologies’ Media Relations Director. The department has issued an unlimited multi-year contract to provide with an initial order of 325 units to be deployed immediately.
