Active-Shooter Compact Plate Carrier Package

PPI's Armorlite™ ST ballistic system is the latest development in high performance ballistic packages, providing superior performance while maintaining excellent flexibility and weight. Comprised of Teijin Twaron® High Performance Fibers and Honeywell’s new Spectra Shield® II, Armorlite™ ST offers protection against “special threats” such as the Winchester 9mm 127 grain SXT +P+, Speer Gold Dot .357 Sig 125 grain and military fragmentation.

The Armorlite™ TG is PPI's premier NIJ certified Level II ballistic package designed to defeat the following special threats: Winchester 9mm +P+ 127g SXT at 1,292 fps; Winchester .357 Sig 125g SXT at 1,426 fps. Armorlite™ TG contains Twaron® and Gold Flex®.

Years in development, our new TG-Hybrid series will overwhelm the competition with its ultra-light weight, malleability, ballistic protection level, back-face deformation rating and price. After a year of testing by individual agencies like the Pinellas Co. Sheriff’s Office, and the Miami-Dade PD, our TG-Hybrid Ballistic Package has lived up to its potential. NIJ testing, completed in January of 2006, where high-performance cartridges were relentlessly fired against our off-the-shelf test package, had shown a remarkable resistance to penetration and unparalleled V50 rating.

NIJ-Compliance Test report # 06N006, dated January 7th. 2006:
The TG-Hybrid Level II was tested to its ballistic limits and performed flawlessly.
Rounds tested were:

• 9mm 124gr. FMJ with the panels dry and wet, at 90° angle and at 30° angle,
• .357mag 158gr. JSP with the panels dry and wet, at 90° angle and at 30° angle

The Hybrid Series is our high-performance ballistic package offering protection against non-NIJ threats. The IIIA model has been tested against various foreign threats including, but not limited to: Tokarev, Norinco, Fiocchi and Geco. The Hybrid Series is comprised of Twaron® and Goldflex®

The Armorlite™ is our all Twaron® Aramid ballistic series. It offers lighter, thinner and more flexible protection to those who demand comfort combined with value. The Armorlite™ series is comprised of 100% Twaron® materials.

Sabre is our brand new NIJ certified stab resistant armor line made using the latest Turtle Skin stab resistant fabric. Available in Spike 1, Spike 2, Spike 3, and Spike/Ballistic combinations. Micro-filament TWARON® ballistic fabric, a long-time veteran woven material, is one of the most widely used ballistic materials today. Certified in accordance with NIJ Standard 0115.00, PPI's Sabre Spike Series is available in Python or Viper concealable carriers.

PPI's new Sabre ST is certified in accordance with NIJ Standard 0101.04 for Threat Level II ballistic resistance and NIJ Standard 0115.00 for Spike Level 1. Sabre ST is available in our Python or Viper concealable carriers. Both styles offer the most comprehensive side coverage of any concealable vest while maintaining a comfortable fit.

Delivery Times

All in stock items are shipped within 2 weeks after receipt of payment. In the event an item is out of stock you will be notified with an estimated ship date. All other orders ie special orders or orders for imported items may take 4 weeks to 6 weeks.

EXPORT REGULATIONS & DELIVERY TIME

Shipping Level III and IV RIFLE Plates outside the US requires a U.S. State Department export permit which can take 6 weeks to 4 months. Please plan your purchases accordingly. Level II-A, Level II and Level III-A Body Armor could require a Department of Commerce export license but is generally license exempt to most countries. To check on Body Armor regulations in your country, and estimate import duties and taxes into your country, please consult your government.

If you remember only one thing from your visit to this web page, remember this: NIJ standards are the minimum ratings for a particular level of ballistic protection. At the very least, your ballistics MUST meet and/or exceed for the duty rounds (pistol for concealable & rifle for tactical) that you carry.
Your vest which you have been provided under a competitive bid process may not be capable of stopping the very round chambered in your duty weapon. Have your department test it, have your union or PBA test, or at the very least, test it yourself!
