The table to the right is a cross-reference tool to assist you in your selection of vest models from the official BVP website, which lists the NIJ Approved Vests Catalog Model Name only. This table will provide you with the corresponding Body Armor ballistic package/vest name to simplify your selection and identification process. This list represents only those products that are ballistically certified (program qualification) by the NIJ, so you will not find such products as soft trauma plates, T-shirts, garments or other accessories. Those non-ballistic products do not qualify under the guidelines of the Partnership Program. As of FY 2013, in order to receive Partnership funds, your department must have a mandatory wear policy for all uniformed officers while on duty.
